Everybody says their stallion is the greatest horse in the breed. And there are a lot of good ones out there. But Top Dollar is one who has proven himself to be both competitive at the professional level in the show ring, and also an enjoyable trail horse for a rider who prefers calm and easygoing (me). His offspring have proven themselves to be the same - consistently winning show horses with amateur riders when up against professionally trained competitors, and favorite trail companions. Also, Dollar passes on his long easy stride, excellent conformation, and his golden buckskin color. If it's not buckskin, it will be a well-marked bay - Dollar has not produced a sorrel yet.

Top Dollar is an honest, natural Fox Trotting Horse, not a man-made one, and he doesn't need tricks or gimmicks to take you down the road with an easy smooth gait. Unlike some horses in our breed, what you see is what you get. In the pictures on this page, you can see him doing a perfect Fox Trot both on the trail with light contact and a snaffle bit and while set up for show. He is a true pleasure to trail ride, but is also has excellent show accomplishments. In his last season, Dollar was shown in the World Grand Championship at Ava, 2000 where he finished in the top 10, and won the California State Championship a month later.

Dollar has solid conformation, beauty, gait, and temperament bred into him, and passes it on consistently to his offspring. And you don't have to sacrifice anything for color!
